Our new baby Simon

Simon Kevin Marquez was born on November 6th 2015 at 5:31 am. He weighed 7ib and was 20.5 in long. He was born at home. It was a beautiful experience. At 5:00 I lost my plug. But the interesting thing was that Berny was 8 hours away delivering a load because just days before our driver quit. He had given me a blessing before he left that he would be there for the birth. So I questioned weather I was in labor or not. Mom and my friend Amanda timed contractions until My midwife got here about 8:00pm.  I labored with her until 2:00 am when Berny showed up!  I felt the power of angles helping me along in the early morning hours while everyone else slept. Then with two big pushes he was here. I held him in my arms as Berny pronounced that he was a boy. We were both surprised because we both felt like we were having a girl. I was so grateful to get my little baby in my arms. He had a head full of dark hair and had my dads brow and Whitney's nose. I did hemorrhage a little after he was born and I almost passed out but I kept myself alert by yelling and singing my affirmations. I couldn't remember my kids birthdays but I could remember my scriptures and my declarations and some primary songs. What an amazing experience!!
